Benoît EntePuligny-Montrachet2017
Benoît Ente farms just 4 hectares in Puligny-Montrachet, producing fewer than 1,500 cases a year across his entire range. His village Puligny is already cult-status among Burgundy collectors. The 2017 shows citrus oil and white flowers with a touch of warm pastry, medium-bodied with chalky minerality and precise acidity. Ente's approach is minimal intervention: nothing showy, just clean, honest Puligny that lets the terroir come through. Drink through 2030.

About This Producer
Benoît Ente is the younger brother of Arnaud Ente in Meursault. He established his own domaine in 1997 with just 4 hectares of family vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet, previously leased out to other growers. Production is tiny (fewer than 1,500 cases per year total), and the wines have become cult-status among collectors. Benoît and his wife Coralie manage everything themselves.
