About This Producer
Founded in 1948 when François Raveneau married Andrée Dauvissat, combining his purchased vineyards with her prestigious Dauvissat wine family parcels. During the 1960s-70s, François acquired exceptional vineyards at low prices during Chablis's economic crisis. American importer Kermit Lynch discovered the wines in 1976 and launched international recognition from 1979. Jean-Marie Raveneau joined in 1978, taking over winemaking by 1984. Bernard joined in 1995. The fourth generation (Isabelle and Maxime) joined 2010-2017.
