About This Producer
The Rinaldi family began winemaking in 1870 when Giovanni Battista Rinaldi merged vineyards with his wife Ludovica Barale. In 1916-1919, Giuseppe Rinaldi broke away to establish his own estate. First vintage under the Giuseppe Rinaldi label in 1921. In 1947, Giuseppe's son Battista (trained enologist) took over and brought prominence, acquiring Cannubi San Lorenzo. In 1992, Giuseppe "Beppe" Rinaldi (fifth generation) assumed control, maintaining strict traditional methods. Beppe passed in 2018; wife Alessia and daughters Marta and Carlotta now represent the sixth generation.
