We track down rare bottles through quality European auctions and private cellars — sources where we prefer to know a wine's history. We always check condition closely, and we share whatever provenance we have rather than claiming a paper trail for every bottle.
What makes a wine rare
Scarcity comes from several directions: tiny vineyard parcels, a producer who makes only a few hundred cases, a vintage that has nearly disappeared, or a bottle format that was never common.
Rarity and quality are not the same thing. We look for wines that are both hard to find and genuinely worth drinking.
Buying with confidence
Each rare listing carries condition notes and whatever provenance we have. Because supply is limited, the selection moves quickly — if a bottle speaks to you, it rarely waits.
