Think of us as an antiquarian for wine: we deal in old and rare bottles the way a good antiquarian deals in books — with an eye for history, condition and the story behind each piece.
Based in Amsterdam, we source from private cellars and European auctions, check every bottle, and keep it in proper storage until it reaches you.

An antiquarian's approach
Each bottle is treated as an object with a past. We trace its provenance where the documentation allows, assess fill level and label, and only offer wines whose condition — and whatever history we can establish — we can stand behind.
It is a slower, more careful way of selling wine — and it is the only way that makes sense for bottles that can be decades old.

For collectors and gift-givers
Whether you are building a cellar, hunting a birth-year vintage, or looking for a gift with real meaning, an older bottle carries a sense of occasion that a new release cannot.
Tell us what you are looking for and we will help you find the right piece.

Frequently asked questions
What does a wine antiquarian do?
We specialise in old and rare wines — finding them, checking their condition and tracing provenance where we can, storing them correctly, and matching them to collectors and occasions.
Can I find birth-year wines with you?
Often, yes. Let us know the year and we will look for mature vintages that are drinking well and come from sources we trust.
